What are the main barriers to, and opportunities for accelerating, the transition to formality? Chair,I speak on behalf of the European Union and its Member States. The candidate countries North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania*, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, the EFTA countries Iceland and Norway members of the European Economic Area align themselves with this statement Informality concerns 58% of the global workforce and 80% enterprises.
